Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website logiccutpro.com and all software plugins, scripts, extensions, and related services developed and distributed by LogicCutPro (collectively referred to as the "Products"). Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or using any of our Products. By downloading, completing a purchase, or activating any Product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase, install, or use any Product. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and LogicCutPro ("we," "us," or "our").
By using our Products, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age or of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Pricing & Billing
LogicCutPro offers Products under various pricing models, including one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions. The specific pricing, billing cycle, and renewal terms for each Product are clearly displayed at the time of checkout. By providing your payment information, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge the applicable fees based on your selected plan.
Recurring Subscriptions: Where a Product is offered as a subscription, your payment method will be charged automatically on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select — until you cancel. You will receive an email notification from Lemon Squeezy prior to each renewal charge.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing for any Product with at least 30 days' advance notice delivered via email to your registered address. If you do not wish to continue at the revised price, you may cancel before the new pricing takes effect without penalty.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal or by contacting us at support@logiccutpro.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no further charges will be made, and you will retain full access to the Product until that date.
Failed Payments: If a scheduled payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend access to the Product until the outstanding balance is resolved. Repeated failed payments may result in subscription termination.
HWID Binding & Machine Transfers
Depending on the Product, your license may be cryptographically bound to a single computer via a unique Hardware ID (HWID) — a one-way SHA256 hash derived from your system's hardware identifiers through Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). Where applicable, the license may only be active on the permitted number of machines at any given time.
If you replace your hardware or reinstall your operating system, your HWID may change, requiring a license transfer to restore access. The specific number of self-service deactivations and transfer allowances included with each Product are detailed on that Product's respective page or documentation.
Once a Product's self-service deactivation limit has been reached, any additional transfers must be requested by contacting our support team at support@logiccutpro.com and are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Prohibited Uses
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- Attempt to access, extract, or tamper with the underlying code or internal mechanisms of any Product in any unauthorized manner
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, licensing, or access control feature of any Product
- Share, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or resell your license key or access credentials to any third party
- Use any Product on more than one machine simultaneously under a single license
- Use any Product for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Software Updates & Version Policy
We periodically release updates to our Products to introduce new features, improve performance, and maintain compatibility with supported host applications. When a new version is released, prior versions are retired and will no longer be supported or functional. Continued use of a Product requires installing the latest available version. Active subscribers and valid license holders will always have access to the most current version at no additional cost.
Trials and Beta Versions
LogicCutPro may, at its sole discretion, offer free trials or beta versions of certain Products. Unless otherwise stated, these are provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranty or guaranteed technical support, and we reserve the right to modify, limit, or terminate trial and beta access at any time without prior notice. Access to a trial or beta version does not constitute a commitment to provide the final Product under the same terms.
Service Availability
Our Products may require an active internet connection to perform periodic license validation with our servers. While we make every reasonable effort to maintain uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that any Product or its associated services will be available at all times without interruption. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or unforeseen technical circumstances may occasionally result in temporary service disruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize any downtime and to restore service promptly. Such temporary interruptions do not constitute grounds for a refund or any other compensation.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOGICCUTPRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR INCONVENIENCE ARISING FROM TEMPORARY SERVICE UNAVAILABILITY.
Intellectual Property
All Products, including their underlying code, algorithms, design, graphics, and documentation, are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of LogicCutPro. These Terms grant you a limited license to use the applicable Product — they do not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by LogicCutPro.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOGICCUTPRO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PRODUCT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, OR BE FREE FROM ERRORS OR DEFECTS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LOGICCUTPRO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO LOGICCUTPRO IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LogicCutPro operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to a mandatory 30-day good-faith negotiation period before either party may pursue formal legal remedies. If a resolution cannot be reached informally within that period, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or before the courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by the applicable law of your region. For users located in the European Union or United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights afforded to you under applicable consumer protection law, including but not limited to the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where reasonably practicable, notify active subscribers via email. Your continued use of any Product after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to any Product at our sole discretion if you materially breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination for cause, no refund will be issued. You may terminate your subscription at any time in accordance with the cancellation procedure described above.
Indemnification
YOU SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS LOGICCUTPRO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, COSTS, AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO: (I) YOUR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRODUCT; (II) YOUR VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS; (III) YOUR VIOLATION OF ANY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION; OR (IV) ANY CLAIM BY A THIRD PARTY ARISING FROM CONTENT YOU CREATE, DISTRIBUTE, OR OTHERWISE EXPLOIT USING ANY PRODUCT. LOGICCUTPRO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ASSUME THE EXCLUSIVE DEFENSE AND CONTROL OF ANY MATTER SUBJECT TO INDEMNIFICATION BY YOU, IN WHICH CASE YOU AGREE TO COOPERATE WITH LOGICCUTPRO'S DEFENSE OF SUCH CLAIM.
Feedback & Unsolicited Ideas
We genuinely welcome your suggestions. However, if you submit any feedback, ideas, feature requests, or other suggestions to LogicCutPro — whether through our support channels, email, or any other means — you acknowledge and agree that such submissions become the sole and exclusive property of LogicCutPro. We are free to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, or commercialize any such feedback in any form and for any purpose without any obligation of confidentiality, attribution, or compensation to you. This clause does not limit your rights with respect to your own creative output produced using our Products.
Export Control
Our Products are subject to the export control laws and regulations of the United States and other applicable jurisdictions. By downloading, installing, or using any Product, you represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties, including the Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the Commerce Department's Denied Persons List. You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations and will not transfer any Product to a prohibited destination, entity, or individual.
Refund Policy

Because LogicCutPro offers a variety of digitally delivered Products — including subscriptions and one-time purchases — our refund terms are structured based on the type of purchase you make. We stand behind our Products and strive to ensure a fair experience for every customer.
Standard Money-Back Guarantee
This guarantee applies to your first payment only and is available to first-time purchasers of each Product. For subscriptions, it covers the first billing period. For one-time purchases, it covers the original transaction. To request a refund, contact us at support@logiccutpro.com with your order number within the applicable guarantee window. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Recurring Subscription Charges
Where a Product is offered as a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle — monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan — until you cancel. Each renewal charge after the initial payment is non-refundable. Lemon Squeezy will send you an email notification prior to each renewal. It is your sole responsibility to cancel before the next billing date if you no longer wish to continue.
No Partial Refunds
We do not issue partial refunds for unused portions of any billing period. When you subscribe or purchase a Product, you are granted access for the full term of that billing cycle, regardless of how much or how little you use it during that time.
Products with Free Trials
If a Product is offered with a free trial period, that trial serves as your opportunity to fully evaluate the software before committing to a paid plan. In such cases, once the trial period ends and the first official charge is made, that charge falls outside the standard money-back guarantee window, as you have already had the opportunity to test the Product. Any exceptions to this will be clearly stated on the relevant Product's checkout or trial activation page.
Exceptions & Chargebacks
Outside of the applicable guarantee window, we do not issue discretionary refunds. If you believe a charge was made in error, we strongly encourage you to contact us at support@logiccutpro.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, as we are often able to resolve billing disputes quickly and directly. Please be aware that chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in the suspension of your account and license pending investigation. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory right to dispute unauthorized charges with your financial institution.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Where such laws grant you rights that cannot be contractually waived — including but not limited to the EU Consumer Rights Directive or equivalent regional legislation — those rights remain fully intact and are not affected by the terms of this policy.

At LogicCutPro, your privacy is a priority, not an afterthought. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect when you use our Products, the legal basis on which we process it, how long we retain it, and the rights available to you. We operate on a strict data minimization principle — we collect only what is technically necessary to deliver the service, nothing more.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds under the GDPR:
- Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing required to deliver the Product and manage your subscription — including license activation, HWID binding, and account management.
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Processing necessary to protect our service from fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use — including IP logging and rate limiting.
- Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): Processing required to comply with applicable financial, tax, and legal record-keeping obligations.

Payment Data: We never see, receive, or store your credit card number, bank account details, or any other payment instrument information. All billing is handled exclusively by Lemon Squeezy, who is PCI-DSS compliant and maintains their own privacy policy governing payment data.
Data We Do NOT Collect
Our Products operate locally on your machine. They do not access, read, collect, transmit, or upload any of the following:
- Your personal files, documents, photos, or media of any kind
- Adobe Premiere Pro project files (.prproj), timelines, or sequences
- Video footage, audio files, or any production assets
- Browsing history, cookies, or data from other applications
- Keystrokes, clipboard contents, or screen captures
- Any information from other software running concurrently on your system
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR (European Union), the UK GDPR, the CCPA (California), or other applicable data protection laws. These rights include:

Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Specifically:
- Account and license data is retained for the duration of your active subscription or license, plus no longer than 12 months following cancellation or expiry, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable legal, tax, or accounting obligations. In such cases, only the minimum data necessary to fulfill those obligations will be retained, and it will be deleted promptly once those obligations are satisfied.
- IP address logs are retained for 90 days for fraud prevention purposes, then permanently deleted.
- Crash and error data (where collected) is retained only for as long as necessary to investigate and resolve the relevant issue, and is permanently deleted thereafter.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed identifiers, access controls, and short-lived authentication tokens. While we take security seriously, no system is entirely immune to risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers
We operate as an independent software publisher and rely on established third-party infrastructure providers to deliver our services. As a result, certain personal data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. We do not operate our own international data centers and do not independently transfer your data across borders.
All international data processing is carried out exclusively by our sub-processors — Lemon Squeezy, Vercel, Upstash, and Resend — each of which independently maintains compliance with applicable data transfer regulations, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and other recognized legal mechanisms where applicable. By using our Products, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions with data protection laws that differ from those in your country.
LogicCutPro assumes no liability for the data handling practices of third-party sub-processors beyond the contractual and regulatory obligations those parties have independently undertaken. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each sub-processor listed in the Third-Party Services section below.
Third-Party Services
To operate our Products, we rely on the following sub-processors and third-party services. Each operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements:
- Lemon Squeezy: Merchant of Record — handles all billing, subscription management, and payment processing. We do not receive or store any payment details. Subject to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: Hosts our license validation API and web infrastructure. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Upstash Redis: Provides secure, low-latency storage for license records and session data. Subject to Upstash's Privacy Policy.
- Resend: Powers transactional email delivery for license confirmations and support correspondence. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
Our Products are not directed at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 16, or under the age of 13 where applicable under local law, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@logiccutpro.com and we will promptly delete such data from our systems.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our Products after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
